Hello my partners in the ministry of Jesus Christ! We read on Romans 10: 17 the words of the Apostle Paul: "faith comes from hearing the Word of God,and the message is heard trough the word of Christ" The ability to speak is one of the most wonderful gifts given by God to human beings. It is amazing how we can communicate each other so easily, how we can work together with not confusion because words are ideas articulated in sounds. the significance of a particular term may be ambivalent but when you put it in its right context you'll know exactly what somebody else is trying to communicate to you. Trough the words we can elaborate the most complex theories, Science is able to develop the most incredible technology but the fact is that any invention or any kind of achievement of science begins with words, this is referred as "Theory" by scholars and scientists.Teachers communicate the knowledge to students using the words. No wonder in the book of Genesis we find that God uses the speech to create things, see how recurrent is this phrase: There are two kind of words ruling in this world The powerful Word of God and the word of Satan: Let me give you an example of this: Words can be used for good or for worse, they can be the key to right or wrong. The right words said at the right time may save the lives of inocent people, may release the prisoner from jail, can stop a crime, may persuade the angry crowd not to hang somebody, a word of wisdom may avoid a catastrophic situtation, may bring back home the runaway children, a good word will restore broken relationships, avoid a suicide, or bring peace and confort to the souls in conflict.In the other hand, words are able to destroy lives, words are able to blow in the fiery furnace of war, may be use for the so called "Brain wash" they can change the vision and behavior of human beings and take them from bad to worse. Words are used to destroy reputations, to divide the family, to turn friends in enemies.Thanks God that we Christians have received the good word, the "Wonderful Word of Life" as an old hymn says This is a Word different than any other on this earth. It is the Word of reconciliation with GodIt is the Word that brings faith when you hear it. It is a living word. The one that was made flesh and lived among us, Jesus Christ the divine "logos" of God. It is amazing how a person comes for the first time to a christian congregation, he or she may be kind of shy at first, they keep coming Sunday after Sunday, just sitting on the pew just hearing and suddenly, that person starts articulating the speech of God like a little child that is starting to speak, he or she continues hearing and one day we may have a local preacher, a local church leader, a seminary student, elders, deacons, pastors and ministers. This is when the Word is wearing fruit. This is happening in our small Hispanic congregation in Fort Dodge TAKE A LOOK AT THESE PICTURES:
